Sevelamer is a phosphate binder used for hyperphosphataemia in patients with chronic renal failure on haemodialysis.
Dosage: serum phosphate > 5.5 mg/dl 1 tabs. 3 times daily, serum phosphate > 7.5 mg/dl 2 times 3 times daily.with each meal.
