Doses:ln amoebiasis 500 mg three times daily for 5 to 10 days. Children: 35 to 50 mg/kg daily in divided doses. In giardiasis, 500 mg 3 times daily for 5 days, or 500 mg twice daily for 7 days. children 15 mg/kg daily in divided

N.B. in case of E. histolytica, advised to repeate the course every 2 weeks for 2 or 3 courses ,and make stool analysis to be sure that the atient is free from E-histolytica.
