Cefadroxil: is a first-generation cephalosporin antibacterial that is the para-hydroxy derivative of cefalexin , used similarly in the ttt of mild to moderate susceptible infections.
Interactions: isolated reports ofcefalexin decreasing the efficacy of oestrogen
Dosage:Adult : 500 mg to 1 g twice daily. Children: Under 1 year : 25 mg / kg daily in divided doses. 1 to 6 years: 250mg twice daily. 500 mg twice daily.
