Interactions: with acetanoinophen, Iron, furosenoide, ranitidine, allopurinol, hydroxyurea, digoxin.
Adverse effects: headache, palpitations and tachycardia, fluid retention, diarrhoea, , nausea, and abdominal pain Dosage: 1 mg daily in 2 divided doses. After at least a week, the Dose is adjusted, by increasing the daily Dose by not more than 500 micrograms in any one week, until the platelet count is maintained within the normal range.
