Mechanism:lnterferon alfa exhibits immunomodulatory activity , also inhibits viral replication both in vivo and in vitro . Indications:and Dosage:multiple myeloma 3 times weekly subcutaneously beginning at a Dose of 2 million unit/meter squre the Dose progressively increased weekly to the maximum tolerated Dose( 5-10 million iu/m square ) N.B. All Interferon alfas should be kept in refrigerator (2-8 c) & handeled in ice bag.
