Rules of-vit. D 1- maintain & regulate normal phosphate & Calcium (competitors) in Bone tissues & Blood also facilitate absorbtion of both ions from the GIT .
Uses Osteomalecia—Rickets,Hypocalcemia,Hypoparathyrodism ,Tetany,Chronic renal failure .
Dosage:Rickets due to Vit. D Deficiency 10,000 50,000 unit daily for Vit. D defficency 1000 unit I.M. or 1-3mgm. Orally daily for 10:30 days.
