Mechanism:Phenindione is a coumarin anticoagulant which depresses the hepatic vitamin K-dependent synthesis of coagulation factors 2,7,and 10.since it is indirect anticoagulant it has no effect on existing clots, its full effects appear after 3-5 days.
Dosage:200 mg Starting—100 mg Next day then 50: 150 mg Daily acc. To clotting tests.
