Uses: symptomatic ttt of mild to moderately severe dementia in Alzheimer's disease & various neuromuscular disorders
Precaution:dose Reductions in hepatic & renal impairment & those taking certain cytochrome P450 isoenzyme inhibitors
Dosage: 8 mg daily with food for 4 weeks, increased to 8 mg twice daily. maintained for at least 4 weeks, may increased to 12 mg twice daily according to response and tolerance. b clinical response evaluated within the first 3 months.
