Precautions: Benzodiazepines, such as clonazepam, given to the mother may cause neonatal sedation and breast feeding should be avoided.
Interactions: Hepatic enzyme inducers, such as carbamazepine, phenobarbital, or phenytoin, may accelerate the metabolism of clonazepam. Clonazepam may be expected to have the sedative interactions associated with benzodiazepines.
