Fluoroquinolones inhibit hepatic drug metabolism and interfere with the clearance metabolised by the liver.Cations e.g.aluminum,magnesium, or iron reduce the absorption of ciprofloxacin or rek drugs when given together.
Dosage: 250 to 500 mg/ 12 hours for seven to 14 days, but complicated infections may require more prolonged.
