what medicine Neurazine 25؟

has depressent action on the central nervous system,and has alpha-adrenergic effects.
Uses in psychotic conditions as well as in some non-psychotic disorders, such as: acute and chronic schizophrenia to reduce acute mania, as in bipolar disorder control of severely disturbed, agitated, or violent behaviour in adults and Children: as an adjunct for the short-tenn treatment of severe anxiety , and to reduce pre-operative anxiety in adults and Children: bin the alleviation of hiccupx adjunct in the treatment of tetanus in adults and Children: and to control symptoms in acute intermittent porphyria. Adverse effects: it produces less central depression than the barbiturates or benzodiazepines. It has antimuscarinic properties and may cause dry mouth, constipation, difficulty with micturition, blurred vision, and mydriasis.
Tachycardia.
C/I: Chlorpromazine and other phenothiazines are C/l:in patients with pre-existing CNS depression. They should be used with caution or not at all in patients with impaired liver, kidney, C.V., cerebrovascular, and respiratory function and in those with angle-closure glaucoma, a history ofjaundice, parkinsonism, diabetes mellitus, hypothyroidism, myasthenia gravis, paralytic ileus, prostatic hyperplasia, or urinary retention Dosage:25:100 mg 3 times daily the Dose orally injection ot rectal.
