2 for the induction of anaesthesia perior to the induction of other general anaesthetic agents .Ketalar used in Adults ,elderly & Children.
Side elTects: confusion, hallucinations, and ilTational behaviour.. Patients may also experience increased muscle tone. Blood pressure and heart rate may increased.
Precautions: contra-indicated in patients in whom elevation of blood pressure would be serious including those with hypertension or a history of cerebrovascular accident.
