Zoledronic acid is a potent inhibitor of bone resorption. It is used for hypercalcaemia of malignancy, in a single dose of4 mg administered by intravenous infusion over 15 minutes.
Adverse effect : renal failure, reported in patients who have received Doses of 8 mg
Uses: for the prevention of skeletal events in patients with advanced bone malignancies at a Dose of 4 mg every 3 to 4 week+A24:C24s. The treatment ma be re eated if necessar after at least 7 days.
